Much to the delight of the fans, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are making a comeback in the tournament after two years in the Indian Premier League. Despite missing two editions of the tournament, the popularity of the franchise hardly took a toll, thanks to MS Dhoni, who was retained as the skipper of the team by the owners. Dhoni, who was signed by CSK in the inaugural edition in 2008, will be leading the franchise for the ninth edition. Under his leadership, Dhoni has honed the skills of several players over the years.

MS Dhoni was conferred with the Padma Bhushan award recently which he received at the hands of President Ram Nath Kovind. The CSK management had also organised an event to honour their skipper. Several franchises have witnessed many changes as the tournament completes a decade but Dhoni remains to be one of the few players to be a part of the same franchise. The eight franchises have also released their new anthems ahead of the 11th edition. In CSK’s new anthem, Dhoni can be seen entertaining the fans with his swag and style.
